MessageOOC: The National Trust for Scotland (a charity) is far better run than Historic Scotland the government funded organisation, so I would agree with this proposal.

Back IC: If a charity can not generate enough support to save these important sites then it is the will of the people for them to be unprotected. In this way, the general public have no one to blame but themselves for the demise of important sites. It is a reflection of a society's nature how they take care of their heritage, and I personally am willing to see the odd castle being pulled down to shame our country into action.
