Bill: Progressive National Unity Cabinet Reshuffle VII

Details

Submitted by[?]: Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4010

Description[?]:

As the DLP’s MPs have abstained from Parliament, the Unity Cabinet has decided to remove the DLP in all future cabinet proposals. Instead of being called the Unity Cabinet, we have decided to rename the cabinet to the Progressive National Unity Cabinet, as most parties (BPDP and SLP) in this cabinet fit on the left spectrum.

Total seats in coalition 449

449/13= 34.53 quota

From now on, largest party gets the Foreign ministry (RP) and the Finance ministry is free for grabs, as we think that all cabinet bills should not follow the guidelines of the Cabinet Apportionment Bill. The Defense seat will alternate between parties every cabinet proposal. As the RP has held this position for quite some time, the SLP will be given the Defense ministry. Also, from this cabinet proposal to future ones, the Cabinet Apportionment Bill will be fully repealed and all political parties are not required to oblige to its terms

RP 217/34.53= 6.28
SLP 142/34.53= 4.11
BPDP 90/34.53= 2.60

RP 6 seats (including Foreign)
SLP 4 seats
BPDP 3 seats

Final

RP 6 seats
SLP 4 seats
BPDP 3 seats
