Bill: The Smoking Regulation Act of 4014
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Front
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4014
Description[?]:
The regulation of smoking is left to local authorities. This means that all over the nation people who don't want to smoke are being subjugated to second hand smoke. This means that non-smokers f they want to be in a public place have to accept inhaling smoke. Think of the children! The children who are becoming in because the air they are breathing is contaminated with second hand smoke. I ask that all parties join together to save the children from developing cancers and other serious illnesses from people smoking indoors and in places of employment. |

Message | We feel that it should be to the discretion of locals and business owners to make the decision in private areas. |

Message | This stance does not take into consideration what is best for the health of children. Even if one person in the local area opposes the idea of allowing smoke in public areas and the rest of the locals want to smoke in public areas, that one person is then still being forced to have his/her health put at risk for someone else's decision. People are having their health ignored by the Government by allowing this stance to continue. A business may allow smoking in it's property but then that affects the staff who work their why should their health by put at risk when all they are trying to do is work in a safe environment. |

Message | You do know that "think about the children" is, to me, the battle cry of overly concerned parents. |
