| Message | You want to increase tax just after we have made the progressive step of lowering it? You do realise we are in a 21.2 billion BEL surplus right now, correct? We can simply increase spending with that - there is no need for a tax rise. We cannot support this in any way shape or form. This act will literally just take more from the poor - the rich can easily afford these items. It is the poor that suffers from this tax. You are over-burdening the poor for no valid reason, and we cannot support, what we belive, is an act of stupidity. |

| Message | First, the taxes would still be 5% lower than they were. Second, we are going to push for a comprehensive new budget and this extra 5% would help us fund that new budget. Or, would you rather us cut the military's budget. |
