Bill: Call for early elections, April 4018
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hutorian Peoples Front
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: December 4018
Description[?]:
We, the Conservative Unionist Party of Hutori, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. We know that the people of Hutori want to see a strong opposition party and currently that is not what we have. This country has been dominated by left wing politics and it is time for that to change. The conservatives offer that change, we are the right wing party that would challenge the government instead of Being a shadow of the government like the current opposition parties are. If we have early elections, then each party would have seats, meaning we can all make a difference for this great nation. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The FSC will support this to welcome both the CUP and DP. I don't think there is a problem with left wing parties in Hutori, there is a problem with too much unity in Hutori. We need some real opposition to cabinets and bills to make sure the Democratic process is maintained. George Johnston FSC Leader |

Message | Mr speaker, What the FSC have said is exactly right. We need to ensure that there is actual democracy with different view points in parliament rather than lots of different parties with the same policies. George Cameron, Leader of the Conservative Unionist Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Although this bill would benefit our party directly, I oppose this call for early elections. Let us finish this term, the four-year term that the people of Hutori elected President Lexington and each member of Senate to serve. Early elections should be reserved for emergencies only -- and this is not an emergency. I treasure the stability of the Hutorian people far more than an early gain in party share. Message | Mr speaker, I don't think that the people want to wait another two years until there is real democracy. All the parties with seats have similar policies and so the people want a real different choice and a strong opposition, that is why I want early elections. Only when there is different political views in parliament, there is a true democracy. |
Date | 17:24:45, April 24, 2016 CET | From | Liberal Party of Hutori | To | Debating the Call for early elections, April 4018 |
Message | Mr. Speaker Until the vote on Bill R-6 has passed or been defeated by the Senate we will not even consider voting in favor of early elections and risk it being pushed back to infinite debate by the Republicans that will doubtlessly seek to defeat it. Bill R-6 is the cumulative work of the Royalists for almost a century. This close to our goal we won't be deterred. Nigel Brown Deputy Leader of the Royalist Party of Hutori Royalist Party Senate Leader Senator for Fort Carter, Falristan |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Once again, the right wing parties are feeding misleading information to the masses. They say that unity is the problem in Hutori and I can help but laugh at the absurdity of the FSC and the CUP to actually believe there is a thing of too much unity. Let me be clear, the mention of "too much unity" while it is humorous it is also a sign of dark days from the right-wing if they can somehow get the votes on election day. Furthermore, I would just like to add that internal aggression and separation are what destroys nations and the right-wing is trying to drive our country to a slow and painful death. Senator Kieran Murray (L-FS) Leader of the Liberal Party |
Date | 18:05:05, April 24, 2016 CET | From | Hutorian Peoples Front | To | Debating the Call for early elections, April 4018 |
Message | Mr speaker, A ludicrous comment from a ludicrous party. The right wing is not something to fear it is something to encourage which is why on Election Day we will be getting a large amount of votes. The liberal party is scared that we will take their votes away and make them the irrelevant party, that they should be. I will also say that we need divided opinion to support those people who don't want the government of current. That's not going to damage the country is it? The liberal party is scared for their votes and trying to make the conservatives look bad as they know that on the Election Day, they will have lost may of their seats! George Cameron, Leader of the conservative unionist party |

Message | Mr Speaker, I ask Seantor Murray to apologise for such a rude accusation and apologise for labeling us as right wing. George Johnston FSC Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker As Bill R-6 is going to fail because of the Liberals position we vote in favor of these new elections to allow for new blood into Hutori and we wish good luck in President Lexingtons reelection bid. James Murphy Leader of the Official Opposition Leader of the Royalist Party of Hutori Senator for Port Prosperity Docks, Kenai |
