Bill: Internet Useage

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2177

Description[?]:

This bill would allow (although not as a main priority, but a task force for the job) the police to carry out investigations into the use of the internet for illegal operations (child porn etc.). However, in the interest of public privacy they would require senior authorisation of some kind to view a persons personal information (eg. e-mails, non public documentation/files etc.).
