Considering some of the proposals from the Nationalist and Libertarian Parties, we would like to propose a set of economic compromises, that ideally everyone can accept. |

Old value:: Only regulated agribusinesses may produce industrial hemp.
Current: There are no regulations on industrial hemp.
Proposed: Industrial hemp regulations are left up to local governments.

Old value:: The national government controls a vast and comprehensive system of public libraries.
Current: The national government provides local governments with funding to operate libraries.
Proposed: The national government provides local governments with funding to operate libraries.

Old value:: Telephone lines are provided free of charge to all citizens.
Current: There are no regulations on phone service.
Proposed: The state subsidizes the phone service of low income families but does not regulate the rates providers can charge for phone service.

Proposed: There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a full time worker on it can support a family of four without falling under the poverty line.

Message | Madam Speaker We feel that the private sector has no place in forest management. We feel that the government has done a good enough job and that the for profit nature of the private sector puts our forests in jeopardy. We wish for forestry to be addressed in a separate bill, since that really has nothing to do with the economy anyway. |
