'Jon Talmor was the one true king of Talmor, so most claims to the steel throne are made by those who claim to be a direct descendant to Jon Talmor, though many are not first-born, legitimate children or males, all of which are seen as an unspoken requirement to be king and true descendant of Jon Talmor.'

Houses:

House Lanchester
-Official heirs to the steel throne, as the firstborn of true king Jon Talmor was Bradyn Lanchester. The Lanchester are a diverse family, with warriors, priests and bastards.

House Jork
-Had a very strong relationship with the Lanchesters, as the leaders of both houses were half brothers. This all changed when the Lanchesters began a war against the Talmors, who were not truly Talmor but Carlson, and only claimed the last name after Alaina Talmor married Jeustius Talmor. The Jork are a diverse family, with warriors, priests and bastards.

House Wolf
-A Nordic tribe turned house, who are considered much less civilized than other houses. The Wolf House is a very strong military force and has been a menace to their southern neighbors, the Jork. That was until and agreement was made whereby they would no longer fight and there would be an interhousal marriage. This turned the Great-War upside down as the Wolf's were fighting alongside the Lanchester (against the Jork), but after this agreement they could no longer fight, with either. This made the Wolf's an impartial state, temporarily.

House Vellichora
-A southern House originated from immigrants, this House controls much of the south-eastern lands and rely heavily on trade.

House Wright (Represented by House Lanchester)
-A family descending from the illegitimate child of Emory Wright, the only wife of Bradyn Lanchester. The Wright family are extremely loyal to the Lanchesters. The Wrights are well known for their brutal torture methods and common use of them. They are well known for their use of 'flaying'.

House Smith (Represented by House Lanchester and Jork)
-A more unknown family who have married into more powerful families and slowly gained influence in Talmoria.

House Talmor (Represented by House Lanchester and Jork)
-A family descending from the illegitimate child of Adriana Carson, the wife of Jeustius Talmor. Well known enemies of house Lanchester, who state that they are not true Talmors and disgrace the name by using it.

House Redfoot (Represented by House Jork)
-The second-born son of Gerard Jork (bastard son of Jon Talmor) rebelled against his family and house, changing his name to Redfoot thus beginning a new House. They are called Redfoot because of their torture methods involving piercing through ones' foot with a sharp object.

House Redwolf (Represented by House Jork and Wolf)
-A house created from and inter-house marriage of a Redfoot and a Wolf house family member. This became a smaller yet powerful house.

Claims to the Steel Throne:

James Lanchester (Deceased- Legitimate heir to the throne, true descendant of Jon Talmor. First-born to Bradyn Lanchester who was first-born to Jon Talmor, the true king.)

Gerard Jork (Deceased- Bastard son of Jon Talmor.)

Ramsey Talmor (Deceased- Descendant of Adriana Carlson a.k.a Adrianna Talmor, illegitimate non-descendant of Jon Talmor.)

Adriana Talmor II (Deceased- Daughter of Ramsey Talmor, descendant of Adriana Carlson a.k.a Adrianna Talmor, illegitimate non-descendant of Jon Talmor.)

Gerard Redfoot (Second-born son of Jon Talmor's bastard son, Gerard Jork.)

Adam Lanchester (Legitimate heir to the throne, true descendant of Jon Talmor. First-born to James Lanchester, who was first-born to Bradyn Lanchester, who was first-born to Jon Talmor, the true king. To be king when James Lanchester no longer claims the Steel Throne or at death.)

Brian Wolf II (Nordic clan leader of Ulfer, non-descendant of Jon Talmor. House Wolf claim to be the true Talmorians. His successor is to be his first-born; Adam Wolf)

Barrister Vellichora (Leader of the southern hold of Vellichor, non-descendant of Jon Talmor.)

EVENTS:

--Year 164--

-The Great War of the 3rd Era-

The war began on May 3rd when King James Lanchester attacked and killed Ramsey Taylor, who had claimed to be the true descendant of Jon Talmor and claimed to be heir to the Steel Throne, though his family is officially descending from a bastard child of Adriana Talmor, born as Adriana Carson. The Jork family was outraged, as Richard Jork was brother-in-law to Ramsey Talmor. The Jork and Vellichora battalions pushed the Lanchester House members out of the capital city and they fled back to Lancashire. Gerard Jork has been chosen as King to rule until further notice, though the official king is James Lanchester. The Lanchester’s have the support of the Wright family who are to stay residing in the capital. They have also gained the support of the Nordic Wolf House, who have agreed to help them win the war in exchange for titles of nobility and land. The Vellichora House has agreed to fight alongside the Jorks.

--Year 165--

-Death of Bradyn Lanchester-

Just a year after the Lanchesters were forced out of the capital which sparked the war, Bradyn Lanchester, firstborn to the true king Jon Talmor has died. He passed in his sleep and the causes are unknown.

--Year 174--

-Death of Gerard Jork-

July 3rd: Gerard Jork was killed by his own son, Gerard Redfoot. Gerard Redfoot believes he is the true king and his father is simply a bastard. He is starting his own rebellion, gathering troops in his home-hold. It is suspected that they will make an alliance with the Wolf House, in the form of an inter-house marriage. The Steel Throne now lays empty until further notice.

--Year 175--

-Death of Richard Jork and James Lanchester-

"It is with deep regret that we, the House of Jork, announce the death of the true heir to the throne, Richard Jork. Gerard Redfoot entered his chambers at night, using a particularly sharp fork to inflict pain on Richard before eventually killing him with a broadsword, decapitating him. Redfoot now claims the throne in the name of house Redwolf. Henry Jork is now a viable candidate" -Message brought to royal palaces by courier.

James Lanchester, the official heir to the throne, was murdered. It seems that the Gerard Redfoot was also responsible, though he did not commit the heinous crime himself. During the baptism of his newborn daughter 'Alaina Lanchester-Wilforth', he was shot by an archer. The archer was tracked down afterwards and hanged. Before death he said: "Hail the true king. Hail Redfoot!". This has led the Lanchesters to believe that the Redfoots were behind this crime, thus have sworn to seek vengeance upon them.

--Year 176--

-Peace Treaty-

The Lanchester have finally agreed to make peace with the 'Talmor', and will soon marry one of their own with them. With the death of James Lanchester, the thriving force of 'Talmor'-hate in House Lanchester, they have decided to move on to more important issues. This also makes the Talmor temporarily impartial, as they have married with the Wolfs, Jorks and Lanchesters.

MessageOOC: This makes no sense regarding the history of Talmoria. (There wasn't ancient house of Talmor. The oldest known dynasty in the country are the foreign born house of Hemmingway 2000 years ago.)

This RP will be disregarded by me and I suggest all players also disregard this.
