Description[?]:

The National Democratic Party (NDP) is Talmoria’s oldest party with political activity dating back nearly 1000 years. It was formerly known as the Nordenburg Dynasty Organization (NDO), the Royal Democratic Organization (RDO), and the Esinsundu National Congress (KKE). The party thinks of itself as a conservative party with its core beliefs stemming from classical liberalism. It is comprised primarily of business leaders, the urban elite, pan-Esinsundu activists, and monarchist. The party once maintained a rather influential links to the labour movement, and has even sponsored several labor bills, but the labor wing of the party is now mostly nonexistent.

Basic Platform:

On the Economy: The NDP believes that free markets and individual achievement are the primary factors behind economic prosperity. The party strongly believes that reduced income tax rates increase GDP growth and thereby generate the same or more revenue for the government from the smaller tax on the extra growth. This belief is reflected, in part, by the party's advocacy of tax cuts. The party is also supportive of the independence of the Bank of Talmoria in regard to interest rates.

On Society: The NDP recognizes the significance of the traditions and society of the past, however it also acknowledges the need to move forward. As such the NDP has declared its support for the legalization of most narcotics (under state supervision) as well as the protection of women's and LGBT rights. The NDP also believes in fostering a strong, knowledgable, dutiful, and independent Esinsundu society in Talmoria.

On Foreign Policy: Talmoria supports the other Imperial Esinsundu nations of Hawu Mumunhes and Cobura. It also supports the continued maintenance of the Neuhaus Pact. While the foreign policy of past NDP administrations have been largely isolated to interactions with the other Esinsundu nations, the NDP will now champion renewed engagement with the rest of the world - starting with Dovani. Chief Sekai has signaled his support for a Pan-Dovani Organization as well.

On National Defence: The NDP will continue to support a strong Talmorian military. It however recognizes the degradation of Talmoria's armed forces under its administrations and will work to remedy that. The party recognizes the need for reform and proposes that the military rid itself of excess by shrinking the military to a smaller and more agile force, modernizing aging and obsolete weaponry, providing extensive re-training to all active duty personnel, restructuring the army-military command to a join military command shared by the three Talmoria Armed Forces branches, restructuring the more than 20 military command districts in a more robust 5 districts.

On Education: The NDP supports a robust education system funded largely by the state and also by private contributions. The education system should provide a student with the skills necessary to either join the work force at the age of 18 or pursue higher education before entering the workforce at the age of 23.

On Healthcare: The NDP supports the state's role in providing adequate health coverage to its people. It recognizes the need to provide contraceptives, vaccinations, medicines, and health education to its citizens.
