Message | We will not support this. Why shouldn't we get something in return for plunging money into their failing economies? W think that we should be able to give high levels of foreign aid as long as we get something to cover the gap in money that would be left by aid. The amount of aid should be given depending on what they are willing to trade. Obviously exceptions should be made for countries with nothing to offer because of war or pandemic etc. WE think that the current system is perfectly reasonable and getting rid of it would certainly have a net negative effect on the economy. |

Message | We won't budge on this issue, we believe it's fundamentally wrong that a prosperous, developed nation like Kalistan should take advantage of poorer nations in order to sell goods into their markets. We believe that we need strong international ties and trade agreements but this should be a separate issue from charitable aid donations. If we are going to provide aid 'with strings attached' then these 'strings' should be that the nations provide their people with civil liberties and that they are free from oppression and persecution. |

Message | What we should be doing is giving aid but also getting something back, if anything it's a win win situation, we give them aid, we get trading rights and they get to sell stuff to us. It's good for them and us, the current deal. If it's changed I garunteed there will be a negative effect on their economy and ours. |

Message | We tend to support the position held by the FPM on this question, but obviously allowed this law to remain in its current state because we can also see the status quo side of the issue. Is there any additional arguments that the ANP could offer other than one based on taking advantage of other countries in need? |

Message | It should be noted that we actually would prefer a 'high' level of aid as party policy however we chose moderate for the moment to help ensure the bill would pass. |
