MessageWhile the Démocrats de Gauche recognize the negative effects of globalization, they do not excuse a current "Aldexit" which will negatively impact Seleya and Alduria in the short, and most likely, long terms.

MessageI would like to hear your reasons on how this exit will effect us negatively. I can only see positives in an exit, at the moment the Seleyan Union has an assembly which tries to constantly undermine our laws and our government. We are currently forced to serve their protocol in dispatching a minimum of 10,000 "peace keeping troops" a year, to areas under conflict, this is something that is non negotiable for nations in the Seleyan Union. To be honest this in itself would only serve the underhanded aims of those who control the Seleyan Union, which are the globalists. We as a nation do not want to be forced into sending our innocent young men and women into conflicts which are supposed "peace keeping" operations. We do not want to give our support to such an organisation who seeks power for its own evil agenda, we cannot and will not support them and their efforts for domination. We must remain independent, we must make a stand and send a message to the globalists, that we as proud Alduriens will not surrender our nation or its people to the false song of globalism. We ask you today to consider changing your vote, and say yes to an Aldurien Exit.

MessageWhile we must agree that the security force requirement is excessive, the Démocrates de Gauche must voice their concerns over the loss of our benefits (though vague) from the fair trade clause. We believe that we will be placed at a trade disadvantage upon exiting.

While the massive number of troops we donate to the security force yearly is unfavorable to the Aldurian Republic, we believe that exiting may send the wrong message to Seleya about Alduria's positions on human rights and equality. We would prefer to work with Seleya to modify the charter of the Seleyan Union to decrease the number of security forces, and we believe that until this option is exhausted, we should not take a vote to leave.

While we believe the Youth Alliance has good intentions, their intent has stopped at trying to use negotiation or constructive dialogue. We believe that this should be tabled for further debate, at the least.

MessageThe reason we want to leave is because we cannot work with them. The Seleyan Union is an extremely stubborn organisation, we have made an appeal many times to pull our troops out of "peace keeping" operations, our appeal has always been denied. There is no negotiating with the Seleyan Union, we have been told we have to deploy 10,000 troops, we are simply denied if we try and negotiate for less troops. Trade on the other hand, will not be hurt, it will be something very temporary, as Aldurie is a global economic power. Countries in the Seleyan Union will have to do business with us, it will be just as much damaging to them if they don't. In the beginning of Alduries exit, you may get nations in the Seleyan Union not wanting to trade, however this will only be a temporary thing, nations doing that, will only do it as a show of disapproval, when they realise that they are being just as hurt because they cut us out of their trade sectors, they will come running back. Our free trade policy will come through on this, as many Seleyan Union nations import from us without tax, if they cut trade with us, they will have to go elsewhere to import the same products, more than likely to a nation that will tax them highly, costing their corporations billions. They will in turn have no option but to trade with us.
