Message | If the Nationalist Party continue with this proposal and refuse to abstain, we'll have no option but to resign from the recently agreed cabinet. The Nationalists need to show a commitment to this government if they're to count on our support. - Edgar Wallace, Libertarian Party General Secretary |

Message | Madam Speaker, New Labour the Nationalist Party combined would not be able to command a majority in the Senate, so they could not pass this Cabinet bill - at least not without the support of other parties. Like the Libertarians, I urge the Nationalists to drop their support for this bill and re-commit to the governing coalition they are currently part of. At the same time, I would like to urge the Libertarian Party not to resign from the government too hastily. We do have a collective responsibility to provide stable government here. Cosmo Adams Chairman of the Imperial Alliance Minister of Foreign Affairs |
