Message | We believe that the government should stay out of the free markets. Like we have stated above, some regulation is reasonable with regards to selling weapons that could be used against our country or in mass attacks by, as the CIP put it, maniac dictators. The way to deal with the selling of these weapons to places we want is to set up arms embargos to those countries, not by putting more red tape on the entire lot of firearms exports. |
Date | 19:36:11, July 29, 2016 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Common Sense Arms Export Reform Bill |
Message | The proposed legislation would prevent embargos, the current legislation allows it. |
Date | 02:32:33, July 30, 2016 CET | From | Socialist Party of Kalistan (SPoK) | To | Debating the Common Sense Arms Export Reform Bill |
Message | We think the Government SHOULD be involved in the sales of conventional weapons, but the notion that the Government should approve each sale seems to be micromanaging. If we have an arms embargo, we won't sell. That's that. We will vote for. |
