Description[?]:
http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Beluzia I was reading this wiki for the first time and I think it's really cool. I guess our times are pretty tame compared to some stuff that's happened in the past. I have new found respect for Stanton House too, you guys have played a really big part. Anyways, I really like the idea of documenting our era of Beluzian history. I wanted to ask if anyone would be interested in extending the page? I'd be more than happy to have a go if people think it's a good idea, but I understand there are people who've been in Beluzia longer and would be better qualified. I'm sure there is stuff we could cover though. I'd be really interested in ideas. The semi-recent terrorist attacks on senators strikes me as something worth documenting, I'm sure we could talk about the current political situation too. Let me know what you guys think |

Message | I wish I could help more, but I've only been here for 10 years! It seems the time-slot were are missing is pretty much 3872 (the start of the Socialist Republic) to present. At some point along the way we switched back to become a Federal Republic and dropped the 'Socialist', which is a pretty big change. That, at least, should be documented. According to election history, the Knights of the People were active around this time, so if they could help out that'd be great. Also, of course Stanton House. I think it's really important we keep history documented, because new players genuinely do go to the wiki, and it will help if the page is well-managed and informative. |

Message | We founded the Socialist Republic with the help of the BPP and the FotPB, we changed the national symbols of Beluzia, but eventually we grew tired of this (because Stanton House was the only opposition and they had only 1/3 of seats) and everyone left Beluzia. Stanton House became the only remaining party ca. 3890, and the country became a Federal Republic again ca. 3910. |

Message | What parties were involved in the 'refounding' of the Federal Republic? Just Stanton House? |

Message | From some digging around in the archives, I found that it was initialized by a party called Coalition of the Regions and backed unanimously by parties of the day including Stanton House. The bill can be viewed here http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=448027 |

Message | Beluzian history, exciting! I was already impressed when I saw the list of elections Stanton House participated in, so kudos to you Stanton House! furthermore, the page can be updated with both history of people knowledgeable of the past and others who want to record our current events. I also believe the republic of beluzia has multiple wiki pages, but the current is not linked to former pages (from the Socialist Republic and back) |

Message | I'd like to add what I remember and can assume (dates may be way off) 3930s-4000 parties like the conservatives, DLP(later NLP) and confederates (later BCCP) hit their prime and then disband mostly by the early 4000s. Republicans, OM, BPDP, SLP, and a few I cannot remember survive 4000s-4020s Republicans and OM dominate the right, with a fair share of parties in the left. The Party of Liberty and National Front form the center in the late teens and early 20s. Survivors are me and the BPDP 4020-4025 Party of Liberty and National Front disband. Republicans disband after the 4025 election. 4029-4039 I call this the Progressive Era. It's just SLP, BPDP, and Stanton. Country moves to the left. Stanton is largest party probably due to there being no true conservative force like the Republicans. This starts to collapse when parties like the Moderates and later BLFP form in the late 30s '42-'51 Progressive era establishment collapses. Labour takes over the left, with the Imperials and later Nationalists on the right. '50s Labour years with the Imperials falling and the Libertarians rising. '60s Today, where we spend so much energy and time yelling at each other over tax law('twas but a joke, even poking fun at myself). It's basically The Phantom Menace in here, without lightsabers and red faced bad guy and robot soldiers that are about as competent as a bunch of 1st graders being told to win a battle against Napoleon. |

This has to go straight into the wiki! |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
