MessageMr. Speaker,

We wholeheartedly welcome and endorse this proposal! No one should be jailed or otherwise harmed for the personal use of any substances. We alone are the masters of our own body.

The serious issues of rehabilitation and overcoming addiction would be best handled with a public health care system. That is why United We Can has introduced a public health insurance bill this very morning! We ask all parties to give it meaningful consideration.

I yield the floor.

Ernie Sanders, MP
