Message | Madam Speaker, Though I sympathise with the endeavour to protect national security, I must highlight the importance that the people of Beluzia have the information they need to hold government to account. Knowledge is power, Senators! The time limit is there for a reason, to ensure the security of our nation is not compromised, but if we let the government of the day call the shots on what is and what isn't 'safe' for release, we open ourselves up to allowing corrupt governments to withhold incriminating data. We cannot allow that, so the NLP shall oppose this Bill. Sen. Graham Foxtrot Defence Spokesperson, New Liberal Party |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
