Rutanian Broadcasting Corporation News Report;- Council Elections are to be held in August 4097 to elect 3000 Councillors from various cities and towns 600 council seats from each state will be up for grabs. All parties can start their campaign Date for Filing of nominations;-May 4097 Elections will be held on preferential voting system[on a trial basis] For eg;-Candidate 1 gets 1200 votes Candidate 2 gets 1000 votes and candidate 3 gets 400 votes Candidate 3 will be eliminated in that case the voters who voted for candidate 3 as their first choice would have voted for candidate 1 as their second choice in that case their votes would be transferred NOTE;-All of these seats are newly created ones |
