| Message | While my party accepts and applauds Article 1 as foreward thinking, and agrees with it, we disagree with Article 2. While every adult should enjoy the right to own a gun, there should at least be a background check, to ensure that convited felons, who may use such weapons unlawfully, and the mentally handicapped, cannot own these weapons. It is a dangerous move to allow gun ownership to be allowed to everyone, regardless of past crimes or mental handicaps. After much deliveration, me and my party have decided that because of this, we are voting AGAINST this bill, until such time as it is ammended to remove or otherwise make acceptable Article 2.
