With the current tax level we have not enough revenue and its the lowest in all of Artania.

A spending proposal will follow shortly

MessageMy party would support this. I would like is to return to the way the economy was managed under my 20 year tenure as Chancellor, I believe before we gave this ministry to another party our economy was in a better state than it is now, this is a step back in the right direction. I hope one day I can take over the Ministry again or at least help whoever the Chancellor is to deliver an econmy that works for all once again.

MessageWhile my party dislikes income tax on principle, here we see no other choice but to raise it if we ever hope to reduce the governmental deficit. My party would support this bill if it went to a vote.

MessageI find it very rude that Andrew Harper would insult our carefull management of the economy. This is sad, especially since we are such friends.

MessageGentleman, please, decorum!

This is the People's Assembly. Or, well, it will hopefully soon be called that. But the point is that name-calling and accusations are not going to get us anywhere. I agree with the RLP in that I detest income tax, and hope for a lower tax eventually. But right now, the governmental deficit is more important, and so we are going to have to put to ice our plans to lower tax rates. We support this bill only because the deficit absolutely needs to be addressed if we ever want any foreign investment in our nation to happen. We will look like a responsible and sensible nation, and most importantly, having the will to do what is not popular for the ultimate best.

I hope both the Democratic Front and the RLP can see this, and come to an agreement without name calling.

Jackson Ruhr.
Leader of the LDP.

MessageI apologize for my early comments, I was not intending to insult you or infer that your management of the economy was not successful. I was merely attempting to argue that I would have done it slightly differently. I apologize my words may have come out wrong I did not consider them well enough. I withdraw my previous statement but still support this bill. I hope this will it harm the friendship between the RLP and the CPP.
