Bill: Freedom of Recycling Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Christian Democrats
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2179
Description[?]:
Our government policy is conflicting. Businesses can dump waste, but they are mandated by government decree to recycle. But waste collection is handled by private businesses, so we have no way of enforcing any of this. Scrap the boondoggle of a recycling program. Our citizens are skeptical of its merits anyway. If and when it becomes a problem, we can act - but until then, our government should not be interfering in citizens lives in this way. |
