Bill: Extradition Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Uniunea Hosia Democrată
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4109
Description[?]:
We all know that in the modern age, crime crosses national borders. Whether we are dealing with drugs, financial fraud, terrorism, people smuggling or whatever - national governments need to co-operate with one another in order to catch the criminals. This means we need to be willing to work with other governments in order to secure convictions. And we will struggle to persuade other governments to work with us if we are not prepared to extradite suspected criminals under any circumstances. Lucian Petrescu Chairman of the Hosian Democratic Union |

Message | We disagree. Realistically, if a criminal is outside of the Confederation, they are somebody else's problem. If they want them returned, they are free to do so but we shouldn't alter our own laws and beliefs to make it happen. Nic Stefan Chair of the Committee Kizenian Partidul Lucrătorilor |

Message | Though we sympathise with the law, the ministery of foreign affairs and my ministery of justice disagree with this proposal heavely. We think that it is best for criminals to be tried here for their crimes where we know its safe. The NEPP shall never hand over one of our citizens. Desaderius Dragos Minister of Justice NEPP |

Message | Our view is that caring about the outside world should be voluntary. The government should serve its taxpaying citizens and never the other way around. Laws in other countries are not this government's concern. People can go and settle their issues there by themselves if they want to. Csatár Attila Coordinator of the Freedom Front |
