Bill: 1/4111 - Restoring Solentian Traditions Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nuncirist Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4111

Description[?]:

(OOC: Since our flag link seems to be broken, I figured this was a perfect opportunity to restore the long-standing Grey Wolf Flag of Solentia that has been used in the past for centuries in-game. I re-did it to render a somewhat sharper look with less neon-esque colors compared to the original.)

A constitutional reform to restore the traditional symbols of the country.

The passage of this Act will also formally change the name of the country from the "Democratic Republic of Solentia" to the "Republic of Solentia."

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "Democracy is in peril." - Ralph Nader (referring to turnout in the 1996 US presidential election)
