MessageWe think that by reforming our republic into making it a true republic with the president as leader we can create a strong foundation for centuries to come.
And by making citizens get they're ID-cards at them all the time we can make Dorvik a better place in the wake of all the unrest following several civil wars in the world.

MessageMr. Speaker,

the DSU will not vote in favour of this dangerous proposal. The presidential system has a lot of advatages and I admit that. But all those sdvatages are suppressed in comparison with two major disadvatages. Firstly, the tendecy towards authoritarianism. We cannot give the power over the whole executive to the hands of one individual. It is just too dangerous. Secodnly, the hollow of a political gridlock. We musn't forget that whenever the head of state is from a different party than the biggest party in parliament his or hers position is being diminished and proposals rejected in the parliament.

Angela Schultz, DSU leader.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Even though i fully understand the dangers that come with a presidential system i think it will mostly bring benefit to the nation by creating a true presidential republic and by giving the nation a strong leader to look up to instead of a weak 2 leader system which causes people to be confused and the way we create our government is unnecessarily slowed down by this system.
A political gridlock can only occur if a president is to incompetent to create a logical and effective government in which case early elections should be held to choose a new more competent president.

This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
