Bill: Political Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: II / Newsnight Faction
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2180
Description[?]:
We've discussed this before and now that CPNE is inactive, it may be the right time to consider some changes. Do we need really need two-year terms? And must there really be so much bill quota for parties to OD on when they decide? I propose the following numbers. But this is all a debate. If we reach a consensus I'll adopt the decision and put this to the vote. |

Proposed: 10

Proposal[?] to change The length of a legislative and executive term, in months. Should be between 24 and 72.

Message | 42 months = 1 week RL 41 months = almost 1 week RL, so that it goes through all time zones I support a cap on the maximum quota parties can save up. 10 seems a good round number. However I don't want to stifle debate, so why not increase the rate they come back? |

Message | Note that I'm agreeing only because the II created the idea. If say, LoO started it, I'd chalk it down to absurd newbies. Bah, you old-timers. You're making me too nostalgic. |

Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag |
