MessageWhilst I am in favour of free trade in most circumstances, the current level of complete openness on a global scale is damaging to our economy.

It means Baltusia is being flooded with cheap - often inferior - imports. It also make a mockery of the economic treaties we have signed, such as the North Seleyan Economic Community, and inhibits our ability to negotiate trade deals that are advantageous to our nation, both economically and politically.

This proposal will give our businesses more protection while ensuring current and future economic treaties are meaningful.
