Bill: Impartial Moderate Progressive Alliance Cabinet Team (IMPACT) Bill, 2180

Details

Submitted by[?]: Now And Zen Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2181

Description[?]:

The fewer parties there are in the Cabinet, the fewer parties there are that have to vote Yes, so long as we get 250+ and all parties in the bill vote for it.
So.... Let's vote YES, NOW....
CALEB PARTY....
NOW AND ZEN PARTY...
AROSTOK PARTY...
GREEN HORNET PARTY...

Caleb Party gets 4 positions, as he is the biggest and one of them is HOG.

MessageThis is my last attempt to get a Cabinet that seems to be reasonably capable of working with each other on most themes.

If this doesn't go through, I will consider proposing a more radical alliance.
It is past the time that we had a cabinet that is representative of our government, rather than being representative of what the balance of power used to be like decades ago.

MessageWe are really getting sick and tired of proposing cabinet after cabinet, only for not all of the parties included in the proposals voting for them....

Okay, I'm going to make at least two seperate Cabinet proposals.... I will give everyone a day to look at them...
Please indicate whether or not you are FOR, or AGAINST...

Whichever one has the FULL support of all parties mentioned in it, gets to be sent to the vote.... In fact, no, bugger it... I'm going to propose at least two bills and send them to the vote tonight. I will then hold off my own vote, until everyone else votes during your day/evening over there. When I come back to check them on Monday, my time, whichever one has the votes, gets mine.

MessageI would suggest reproposing this cabinet again tommorrow. Trying to pass a cabinet bill on the weekend never works. The only thing I will suggest about the new one is give GHP the defence ministry.

MessageOkay, then, but if it doesn't work next time, our patience will have been exhausted. I will propose several Cabinets and act as a "Kingmaker".
