It also symbol when South-Africa (thinking from a Afrikaner respective) was truly great because then the Boers had their own republic. The flag that you're proposing however only resembles failure. Because under that flag the Afrikaners failed to create an own state. Under this flag the Afrikaners still had an own republic. |

The apartheid flag did not have a green band on the side, it looked similar but it was the orange white and blue stripes, and in the white stripe it had various flags, including the Union jack. The flag proposed is a boer Afrikaner flag, and I welcome the flag change. |

| Message | The Afrikaner-vryheidsvlag was used by Pro-apartheid far-right parties that wanted to establish an Afrikaner Republik. It isn't the Pro-Apartheids flag, that is true. But the flag I proposed wasn't used by pro-apartheid or far-right parties, but was used by a Republic founded by Afrikaners. |

| Message | OOC I'm happy that it's used by far right parties, if we had more of them in South Africa, it wouldn't be such a mess. To me it's a symbol of when South Africa was prosperous and well run. Today it's become a crime ridden, corrupt mess, run by the stupid far left ANC, who couldn't organise a piss up in a pub, and who have no care for the Afrikaans people, or people in general. Very sad. |
