MessageAs stated previously, we will not accept article 1.

- Darius Hutcher, PEP Majority Leader

MessageWhy? That seems a rather unnecessary restriction. If somebody takes the necessary precautions, we should let them keep whatever animal they want. Why is it that the PEP is so obsessed with authoritarian government.

MessageCan this government not get anything done without throwing insults at each other? The PEP brought up a valid point on an issue close to it's members - they're not authoritarian because of that!

MessageYou will find that neither me nor Mr Hutcher are members of the government. Or rather you would find that, if you bothered to do some research. Quite frankly, it is irrelevant whether the members of the PEP care about the point they made; unnecessary restriction of freedom is authoritarian.

MessageWe believe that there are certain limits on all aspects of life. For example, there should not be unlimited freedom of speech, for if someone instigates a riot, they should be charged. Freedom to "own" wild animals should be limited to animals that are less likely to rip a man's arm off. And, as we have agreed upon, freedom of religion is limited to you (the citizen) being allowed to have a belief, but unable to wear it in public.

Other than Article 1, we, the Peoples Party, are in full support.

MessageWould you like me to explain how a government works Ms Rasgado? Basically, we have a Minister for a total of twelve different departments and then a leader of those twelve individuals who is known as the Premier of the Republic. Now, Mr Hutcher and I are not any of those thirteen individuals. Therefore, we are not members of the government and your assertion that we are is patently false. For reference, the current members of the government can be found here: http://bit.ly/2hNx0sV

I hope I have helped you learn something today and maybe when you grow up one day, you can be a member of the government too! Although, the evidence so far suggests that might not happen.

MessageWith respect Mr. General Secretary,

I believe that Ms. Rasgado was mentioning that both the Labour and PEP parties have members in the Assembly. I would say that constitutes you having sway in the government. Now, it is correct that neither Mr. Hutcher nor you are Ministers, but you do have several positions in the Cabinet held by your party. This is what I believe Ms. Rasgado was trying to say.

MessageThe statement was 'Can this government not get anything done without throwing insults at each other'. I pointed out that the government is not involved in this legislation. If she meant something else, she should've said that: it isn't my job to guess about what the underlying meaning behind her words is.

MessageMr. General Secretary,

I understand what the statement was. And I'm afraid it is fairly true as of late. It is not your job to understand, but other parties, such as myself, should support those new parties and get them on their feet.
