Message | Mr Majority Speaker Jacobs, The radical reforms you propose won't pass and we must take some solace in that fact. However, where they will succeed is destabilising our position on the international stage. Up until recently we were all determined to fend of Aldegar's claim by stating we had a tried and tested presidential system. Now other countries may look at this and say: 'hang on, maybe Baltusia is ready for a change. Maybe the Shah's vizier is correct when he points to many Baltusians wanting to get rid of the president'. Rather than produce damaging legislation like this can all our parties not sit down and have a debate over what 'needles' you about the current system and what we can all agree to change to make it better?
