Message | "Mr Speaker, Why do the Proletarians and Royalists continue to vote against this common-sense treaty? It keeps our citizens safe and ensures good relations with one more nation in Terra. We cannot shut out the world through hard-line isolationist policies. We need to acknowledge that, at the to ensure our own safety, we must co-operate with our fellow world citizens. Please reconsider your decisions and put the safety of your citizens first. And if it is really needed to convince you, Istalia is a fellow Security Council member, so they are a good ally to have in terms of spreading our global influence. Again, please reconsider your decisions." - Fraser Zilberschlag (HSP-FA) Senate Leader of the Socialist Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker Aside from the fact that we haven't voted on this Treaty yet and thus haven't actually offered whether we are for or against it our caucus truly had no idea what the Honourable Senator from the Socialist Party is referring. Mr. Speaker, I ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs to explain how this Treaty makes Hutori safer. At last glance it isn't a mutual Defence Treaty, it doesn't offer Hutori military access or anything particularly useful aside from the usual increased trade and cultural exchanges. What does Hutori gain from this, aside from the diplomatic recognition and Embassy exchange already performed through the CSCO Diplomatic Treaty? Message | "Mr Speaker, The Hutorian Socialist Party would like the Royalist Party to read Article I of the treaty. While this is not a mutual defence pact, it ensures that our nation cannot be attacked by Istalia so long as the treaty holds. In addition to this, this gives financial security and safety through a new trading partner, increasing jobs and introducing new econonic opportunity. This isn't just the "usual increased trade". Increased trade is key to improving the standard of living for all Hutorians. We would like to apologise for assuming that the Royalist Party would again vote against the bill, which they did so previously. We hope that the Royalists can change their vote from last time and acknowledge the physical and financial security this treaty will give to our citizens." - Fraser Zilberschlag (HSP-FA) Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Hutori |

Message | Mr.Speaker, Yes as the title itself is clear,it isn't a treaty regarding defence but regarding a constructive partnership to boost trade and movement of goods and services between both nations. This treaty will benefit our economy by creating more jobs as Istalia is ready to invest in Hutori and Vice Versa. Therefore this could further cement Hutoris Standing as a Economic Superpower. Thank you, Justin Steven,Foreign Affairs Minister |

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller |
