Message | Mr. Speaker How does this Bill improve the situation beyond what is already the status quo? The Provincal Government's are doing a fine job of running their own power companies and getting power to their citizens; in fact local governments know better then we would on how to best power isolated homes and communities. As far as we are aware there is not a single community in this country that doesn't have access to affordable electricity. Can the NPP clarify the benefits of this Bill. Message | ''Mr. Speaker What the senator Cavanaugh has said is wrong. Local government don't have any power over energy companies, only the federal government control the energy compagnies. Currently, the local governments only has power over the power grid. That situation cause a lot of problem, especially when it's time to build new power grid or to repair old ones. The engineers of the federal government and the engineers of the local government have trouble to communicate with each other and that result to unnecessary bureaucratic cost and lot of inefficiencies.'' -William Mayer senator of the National Progress Party |

Message | "Mr Speaker, What Mr Mayer has said is confusing. Federal governments would have just as much control over energy companies as provincial governments if it was their responsibility to do so. We agree with the Royalist Party that the energy situation of their citizens is much more suitable to provincial governments due to the diverse environment of Hutori. We will vote against this bill as such." - Fraser Zilberschlag (HSP-FA) Prime Minister of Hutori |

Message | OOC: I think your a little outdated on the energy companies NPP; I just looked it up power generation is divided between public and private companies |

Message | OOC: under that technically Provincal Government's could own their own private or public energy companies since the energy isn't "nationalized". I've long role played Kenai's power and it's grid were run by the Kenai Power Company, a hybrid public private company that the Provincal Government has a huge stake in and it's responsible for the generation of alot of its internal revenues |

Message | Mr.Speaker, Our party believes that control of power grid must be given to The Provinces as they know what to do best due to the fact that Hutori is extremely diverse and has different requirements. Therefore it is best if the government doesn't interfere Thank you, Henry Pearson,Liberal Party Leader |
