Bill: Security Council Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party of Kalistan (SPoK)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4168

Description[?]:

The Socialist Party would like to see a diminished role for Kalistan within the World Congress. We have held the seat on the security council since the founding of the institution and now feel that it is important to begin supporting one of our neighbors into the seat.

We will leave this bill open for debate before moving it to a vote.

MessageThoughts-

1. Kalistan's seat drops to Gaduridos, because Gaduridos supports ODEN.
2. Switch from Kirlawa to Hawu because we have historically held close relations with them.
3. Switch Zardugal to Istalia because Istalia was an early supporter of our first run for SC.

MessageWe absolutely oppose this change. Kalistan MUST stand up on the international stage and not shirk its responsibility to Seleya and Terra. We urge the Democrats to show some backbone and stand up against these changes.

MessageWe feel there is not going to be much more debate on this subject, so I have moved it to a vote. If it passes, we will ask those who have endorsed us in Seat C to support another candidate.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.
