(This bill was proposed by the minister of Education and Culture Sophia Gallagher )
Religion is a complicated debate with a lot of existential questioning that are way too complicated to be understood by a child. Message"Mr. Speaker,

The question is not whether there is a God, or what religion is correct if any, the question is: do people have a political right to practice their religion? To the Liberal Democrats, the answer is a resounding "YES".

Therefore, we will oppose this bill."

Message"Mr Speaker,

Should people have the right to practice their faith? Yes, we agree. Should these beliefs that hold no scientific grounding be instilled into the minds of children who don't know any better? No. Every child deserves the same education, regardless of the faith of their parents."

MessageWhat? This is disgusting! We can't restrict the parent's right to choose because we're atheist! Religion is a great thing, it is the heart of a heartless world, the opium of the people! Parents want their kids to be like them, children can convert when grown up, but until that child is smart enough to choose their own religion, their parents can instill their values. And I am simply disgusted by this authoritarian bill! I would repeal this if I got the chance! Disgusting I say, disgusting. A vote for this bill is a vote against choice, and a vote against religious freedom.

Message"Mr Speaker,

Mr Pole seems to misunderstand that every child should be granted an equal education, and religion impedes upon this. There is no point to separate children purely based on the faith that their parents have selected. Every child deserves an EQUAL education. If parents want to instil religious values, they can practice them at home, but a school is a place for learning, not enforcing beliefs that have no factual basis. This is not to say that people shouldn't believe in them because religion is purely based on faith. And it is for this reason that it shouldn't be enforced in educational institutions. The Socialist Party consists of a range of religious beliefs, although I myself am an atheist. This isn't authoritarianism, this is proper educational practice."

MessageNo, children should be raised how they want to be raised, and how their parents see fit. Priests and preachers won't have any chance of getting that job if they don't study scripture, which is what religious schooling grants. We shouldn't keep everyone the same, we should let people choose what to do and where to go.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
