MessageMr Speaker,

Such measures would wreck economic growth and for what, a massive new layer of eco-bureaucracy. Government regulation would not help much since often big government is the worst polluter. The faceless bureaucrats who run state enterprises have no problem ruining the environment since the enterprises they run do not belong to them thus they have no stake.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Only allowing cars that use environmentally friendly fuels would take about 95% of our vehicles off the road. For that alone we must vote against. The other two measures could possibly be considered in a separate bill.
