Message | This bill is nothing more than an liberal agenda being forced into the citizens of Luthori. It should be shot down without any discussion at all. |

Message | Mr Speaker, I reject the notion that it is as you call it a 'liberal' agenda. It is an agenda that combines both the good parts of the socialists and conservatives. Currently our citizen aren't protected against a big government, especially one that is spying on them. That's why in this bill are included proposals that will stop the government spying on our citizen without any restrictions. Moreover it allows more freedom to our citizens. We allow them to choose about their OWN lives and not let the government force it upon them. If anything is being forced upon the citizens of Luthori, it is the current social agenda of this government. We moreover offer everyone a voluntary pension, which only underlines our freedom-loving proposals. We also limit spending, which can help boost the economy. I yield, George Palmerston |

Message | Mr Speaker, The term "spying" is incorrect in term of government surveillance. This surveillance is necessary in any government that wishes to survive in any kind of perpetuity, as the average citizen is simply not to be trusted with these kinds of decisions on their own. The ideas of individualism and humanism poison the obvious priority of the state over the individual. The freedom of the individual cannot put in jeopardy the welfare of the state. Message | Mr Speaker, Could the honorable gentleman of the Luthori Right Party clarify what he means with the words "decisions on their own". What decisions should the government know you're taking? What you are searching on the internet, what you're typing on your computer, what you're watching on tv, what you're writing to your parents or children? Isn't there a line we as parliament should draw? Our party believes there is and draws that line perfectly clear. I also don't get what you quite mean in regards to euthanasia or abortion. How is it in the welfare of the state if men and women who don't want to live anymore look for more violent options instead of euthanasia? Or women who want their embryo removed and search for less safe option, whereby they can also jeopardize their own health and wellbeing. I think it's clear that it's safer and more permissive if we allow women and men to make their own decisions. I yield, George Madison |

Message | Mr. Speaker, United Luthori will vote against this totally uncalled-for amalgamation of an agenda. If the Liberal Democrats wish to overturn Luthori's laws on surveillance, they will have to repeal, with a 2/3 majority, the Security Services Act of 4164 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=504714) and the Surveillance and Data Collection Act of 4164 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=504846). These resolutions, along with other laws currently in place, can be found in the Imperial Archives (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=496733), which is managed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. I will also add that the Liberal Democrats' position on religion is a hair short of revolutionary. Luthori is, has been, and always will be a strongly Hosian nation that believes in a natural order that governs us all. To attempt to attack the Church of Luthori and treat it as just another taxable corporate entity is degrading and disrespectful to the millions who are faithful, and to the millions who are not, yet who continue to respect the institution and the role it has played throughout the centuries upon centuries of our nation's proud history. I yield. Rt Hon. Christopher Holt MD Prime Minister United Luthori (Sandulka Center) |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We're not at all trying to attack the Church of Luthori and we're very proud of our nation's history and the role the church has played in it. A church nowadays is nothing more than a company. It gets money from its costumers (those who are members of the church), pays its employees (pastors) and should therefore pay its fair share. I yield, George Palmerston |
