Bill: Adult Age Amendment Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Unity Labour Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4188

Description[?]:

This bill seek to amend the age of citizens considered as an adult due to the mere fact that persons 16 are known scientifically to not having the ability to make wise decisions on their own. Also the mere fact they are still in the secondary school system shows that they should be considered as children and not adults.

Imagine if your 16 year old daughter who is able to vote, could also vow to live on her own, marry whosoever she pleases and do as she wishes while still in secondary or high school is totally unthinkable and wrong. Thus this bill should be supported to protect those Children 17 and under.

Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand
