We would ask for a rider that allows private school, not under government mandate and funding, to be allowed to have partial exemptions from the curriculum as some aspects of a National Curriculum made not be applicable to the type of education offered by that institution.

Message''Mr. Speaker

Mister Murphy has brought an interesting point here by talking about private school that give different type of education to their students. Of course, we plan to make some exception in our curriculum for schools with special purpose. For exemple, public and private schools that teach sport and form futur athletes will have slightly different curriculum than the one impose for regular schools.''

We would ask that the Minister of Education and the Prime Minister move their caucus to vote against this current version of the Bill or failing that support the PC variation of this Bill which will allow for exemptions.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
