Voting deadline: February 4191
Description[?]:
Honorable Assembly, These two portions of the Religious Taxation Act were egregious for different reasons. Banning religious ministers, who are in a legitimate profession, from being paid and then prosecuting those who are is a draconian measure aimed at wiping out religion in Cobura, and has been opposed by such diverse figures as His Exalted Majesty the Lord, the Emperor of the Augustans, and the Tewahedo Patriarch of Sharba. The provision is blatantly unconstitutional and should be repealed. Allowing all schools to make the decision on school prayer allows for tyranny of majority in certain areas high in certain religions. Students should not be forced to say a prayer in what is supposed to be a public, secular school. Iskinder Berhanu Shadow Vizier, Education |
