Bill: RP:-Proposal to Assist The Democratically Elected Rutanian Government

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freie Demokratische Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4196

Description[?]:

Mr.Speaker,Members of the Assembly,

As we all know, the war in Rutania has been raging for almost a year now, and we believe that the Dorvish Government must help the Democratically Elected Rutanian Government in its fight against anti national, racist and Segregationist elements.

We propose that Medical Services,Clothing, Food and other materials be delivered to the Rutanian Citizens who have been suffering from lack of basic services due to the destruction of infrastructure.

This bill also proposes that we take in as many refugees possible after proper verification

We have seen the Whig Party and it's allies slaying their own people for no reason and have been unnecessarily destroying Rutania,As we all Know, the War For Ardinia ended just around a few decades back and even then,we did not help them,Therefore it is now Dorviks Turn to prove to the world that we care for our fellow Terrans through this act,we hope that all parties would support this.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We wholeheartedly oppose sending our troops and pose them to danger, especially without the proper mandate from the Security Council. The last thing we should do is to incite the conflict by selling weaponry, this is not our responsibility to fund the government of Rutania. As I said in the previous debated we are willing to provide humanitarian assistance and medical aid but in the frames of our law. We will accomodate the initial number of 3,600 refugees of Rutanian origin. We do not see the need to establish ad hoc diplomatic missions in a country which is in a state of civil war, this would pose our personnel in great danger and we should avoid that. Alredy existing diplomatic missions are enough to provide the best possible way for the dorvish citizens and those who are posed to danger to travel back to Dorvik.

Mr.Speaker,

I expected this,This Government only cares about arguing with the SNP and nothing else!!So obviously they won't support this,This article very clearly stated that based will be established only in urban areas and also, our military personnel,as mentioned, will not be involved in Fighting and will only train them.

MessageMr Speaker,

We agree with the words of Frau Stier. Of course, we should take on refugees and help with aid efforts - and help get our people to safety - however, we should not send our armed forces. The only thing we can or should do at this time is act as a willing shelter for refugees. We should not get involved where we need not to.

MessageMrs. Klein,

You expected what? That we won't support reckless resolutions? Just the presence of foreign forces could incite the conflict, they do not need to engage in fighting. We will not support sending our troops without a Secutiry Council mandate backed by a proper resolution constituting the character of the mission and it's mandate. Unilateralism in this case could lead to deterioration of our status and unnecessary tensions.

I do not see how come we only care about arguing with the SNP. We oppose this not to argue with either the GLP or SNP, we oppose this resolution in order to keep rationality and logic in our politics and to prevent action in a fit of pique.

MessageMr.Speaker,

The Topic regarding sending Armed Forces has been removed,What Ms.Klein tried to say was that the debate going in between the Right Wing parties themselves has left little attention for the plight of Rutanians.

MessageMr. Speaker,

After consideration our party is reluctant towards the provision in proposed resolution concerning the process of accommodation of "as many refugees as possible". We find it extremely irresponsible to open our borders. This could lead to the situation similar to Barmenian Refugee Crisis which we all know how resulted. Therefore we abstain for now with the possibility of further debate.

MessageHerr Stier,

A vast majority of Rutanian's are Volksdundorfische and as such, they should be treated as them. Rutania was a stalwart ally of the Dorvish people for quite sometime and historically we've been allies as well.

MessageMr. von Faber,

"Vast majority" you say. "Volksdundorfische" you say. SInce when I ask you? Since when Luthorians, Likatonians and Caldorians are considered as Volksdundorfische? Anyway, we do not claim that situation in Rutania is not severe and our interference is not necessary, we've already started accommodation of refugees injured in the civil war but not to the extent forseen in this resolution. Indeed our countries are historical allies but I will not risk the deterioration of our security and the safety of our people and our country.

MessageMs.Stier,

The phrase "as many as possible"actually meant the amount that the government would want to determine. As we are a opposition party we used that phrase as it is the government which has to determine the number of refugees who will be accommodated in Dorvik

This shows us the true face of the Right Wing they won't support even if we provide explanations just because a left wing party proposes it,and that sort of attitude is not RIGHT

MessageFrau Stier,

Most Rutanians are considered to be Volksdundorfische, meaning those with an ethnic background from Dundorf. Hence the term "vast majority". Those who are Rutanian citizens and are of different ethnicity should be accepted, that is of no doubt, but they should be returned to their respective countries.
