MessageFurther limiting the use of firearms is needless - guns can only be obtained by strict license conditions, and only handguns, pump-action firearms and rifles may be obtained. These may be used for self-defence, hunting and shooting sport.

Thank you

MessageWe support the principle of tightening up the law concerning firearms ownership, but are not convinced there is a strong case for introducing this as a constitutional amendment. Why not treat it like any other law?

Our constitution is enough of a long and complicated document as it is!

MessageWe oppose restrictions on the possession of firearms. As the saying goes, the rifle hanging on the wall of the working class flat or labourer's cottage is the symbol of democracy. (OOC: Orwell)

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
