| Rachele Delfina, Whip of the Confederazione Capitalista, introduces the following proposal: Whereas Food Safety is of the utmost importance; Whereas Capitalism best provides for the Security of the People; Whereas Mandatory Labeling is contrary to the Spirit of Capitalism; and Whereas Capitalist Reform is needed in the realm of Food Safety; Therefore, be it enacted by the Camera dei Deputati: -There are no laws concerning food and beverage labeling. -There is no requirement to disclose GM ingredients, or chemicals used in agrigulture or processing. - Only the major ingredients need to be listed. -The government recommends food safety standards, but they are not enforced upon businesses. -The sale of food is unregulated. |

Actually, Istalians can choose if buy a product with chemicals or a product without them, can see nutritional information to buy what they really need to live healthy, and they know what they are buying.
