Message | Articles 1, 3, 4, 5, 11, 13, and 14 are completely ridiculous for various reasons and whilst the rest of the bill is fairly good, those 7 (50%) are the reason we in the SSPB will vote against it. Philippa Carter (Minority Speaker of the House) |
Date | 21:17:57, May 18, 2017 CET | From | Federalist Workers Party | To | Debating the Legislative Obstruction of Central Agencies and Levying Act (L.O.C.A.L. Act) |
Message | December 4212: The bill has been shrinked down from 14 articles to 9 removing the divestments of adultery, gambling, alcohol, cannabis, and crossdressing. As everyone can see, the Federalist Workers Party supports the present legislation of adultery, cannabis, gambling and alcohol but we do seek to establish a fairer system in our government by allowing local opinion on such to call the shots. The bill may have been seen as radical prior to this fact's clarification but now it is ready to go for moderate conservatives and moderate liberals alike. |

Message | As our party holds the governorship of three of the five states and has a healthy position in the other two it makes sense to us and our supporters to devolve these decisions to the local legislatures. There are some, such as religious taxation and the abortion policy, which are big issues in Lindar Valley, where there is a large Hosian community and people there are frustrated that the national government in Albiland is not listening to their specific needs when voting on these matters. Message | Clearly the patriotic party will use this bill to stop abortions, secularism and the death penalty. they also only seem to care about hosians ignoring the rest of the populace |

Message | And clearly the RAC Party doesn't have a clue how our state legislatures or local democracy works - demonstrated by this utter drivel. No wonder the Left Bloc was trounced in the polls, yet again. Alexandra Flanders Majority Speaker of the House |

Message | I think there are a lot of forgetful parties here. It was not long ago most parties were voting to allow states to hold devolution referendums and many pushed for yes votes: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=510298 It was only due to constitutional issues (ooc game mechanics) that full devolution could not be implemented in Terrarokka but the willingness was certainly there. So what has changed now, I ask? Alexandra Flanders Majority Speaker of the House |
