| Message | Camilla Fiorente, Minister of Foreign Affairs: "Mr Monti, this is not a common currency, despite the name, it is only an unit of account to aid the currency of the two nations to harmonize and face the international market together, also to avoid shock and to assure major security and stability and to semplify the operation on the financial markets. An Unit of account it is not a common currency. Istalia will maintain its Lira and Zardugal will maintain its Zardugal (OOC: the currency has the same name of the nation). I'm sure that in this way our currency will be more stable and sure and also the financial markets I'm sure will be very interested by a stable financial markets which will be generated by this meausures. In fact the ZICU, after developements, the Government of Istalia and Zardugal hope that it could be used in international financial transactions, where its advantage was that securities denominated in ZICU will provide investors with the opportunity for foreign diversification without reliance on the currency of a single country (OOC: It is not like the Euro at all, but it is more like the ECU https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Currency_Unit#Symbol, a way to easily armonize the budget provisions for the Alliance, stabilize the exchange rate between the currencies and also favorite the investment and financial transanction). |
