Message | As previously highlighted, the current government wish to review the myriad treaties Aloria is currently party to. Some are centuries old, pertaining to international organisation or structures long since dead. Others are more recent, but hold us to specific legislation not necessarily in the nations interest. I want to make clear that it is not our intention to forego our international obligations; far from it. We intend rather to spark an internal dialogue so that the parties of this Senate can determine, with a degree of finality, whether the bonds of the past still pertain to our present or the future we wish for our descendants. Message | We suggest withdrawing from the International Rejection of Slavery Agreement (IRSA). We are already party to the League of Anti-Slavery Nations which goes further than the IRSA in mandating specific actions under the agreement and punishments for infringements of the agreement. Recognition for Luthori is a deliberately aggressive and militarist treaty which legitimises a Luthori claim on multiple sovereign nations. |

Message | We agree with these. We also think a sensible thing to do is to try to persuade Luthori to scrap the Recognition for Luthori treaty if you meet the Luthori Foreign Affairs Minister. |

Message | Both Endralon and Talmoria have withdrawn from the existing trade agreements and so we too should withdraw, they are no longer relevant. Similarly, The Luthori have withdrawn from their own defence agreement, the Luthori Treaty of Mutual Defense. Finally the Koeistad Pact hands too much power to the nations of Saridan, Solentia, and Beiteynu who can determine whether our own country goes to war. Moreover Saridan and Solentia are only middle powers like our nation. |
