Mrs President, It is very hard, if not, impossible to form a cabinet. The VBR want contribute to the discussion in which way the problem might be solved. Message | President, Our power-sharing executive still may pass. We encourage the greens to vote for it. Let's wait until that passes or fails before we get to these kinds of measures. At the point that the executive fails, we would turn to this. Emely Kruspe Leader of the Pragmatic Union |

Message | President, We do not agree with this as it limits democracy. This only narrows the streets of possible cabinets we could go down. As a party which has created many cabinets without this position, we know from experience that sometimes other parties have better, more stable, more realisitc cabinet proposals. Message | Mrs President, Surely, the Hon.Colleague mrs Kruspe agrees that the current deadlock should be ended. Difficult times means that there are no easy ways out. The proposed measure might be temporarely till the days that forming a stable majority coalition is common again. Heinz Bauer Partyleader |

Message | President, We actually think that the largest party should be the one starting to form a cabinet. If the people chose one party to become the largest. Why not give them the right to create coalitions? Konstantin Klee, Secretary General of the SDA |

Message | Mrs President, Why does the SDA believe that their suggestion is a better option than having the elected impartial Bundespräsident forming a coalition ? Evenmore, the Bundespräsident will have a more prominent duty than just cutting ribbons, Heinz Bauer Partyleader |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
