Bill: Pharmaceutical Drugs Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unity Labour Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4229
Description[?]:
We believe in the need to reduce government spending thereby we seek to only subsidize the cost of medicine for low income earners instead of paying the full cost. We should not seek to encourage a nanny state and make people constantly dependent on government. The government isn't Santa Claus and thus, to ensure that the poor is still protected, we will subsidize medication but not pay full cost. |

Message | We are not a nanny state for paying the poorest' pharmaceutical drugs, we are simply a fair state . We are really disappointed with this law and we hope it will be rejected. |

Message | Mr Speaker, I believe our honourable member is mistaken. The state is still assisting the poor and protecting them by paying a fraction of the cost. As a matter of fact,a large fraction of the cost through subsidies. We do hope |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
