Message | Rachele Delfina, Parliamentary Leader of C.C. "We must oppose this P.d.l., as it infringes upon the basic and fundamental freedom of religion. Firstly, it establishes arbitrary criteria for the state to deny visitation from foreign missionaries, to be determined by the government's whim. Furthermore, it allows for the state to deny congregations the rights to unilaterally choose their ministers. We generally oppose this bill." |

Message | Nicola Gasbarro, Leader of LP: "We are really sick to see bills after bills which inside present continue contradition! All the bill is clearly a very secular bill and restrictive religious bill, but then you left the decision to the schools about prayer! We didn't vote to this bill, yet another incongrual and contradictory bill! A behavior really unfair and aimed only to ruin the visibility of other parties. But the citizens will remember! Because this strategy not only affect negatively the other parties, but also you! What could be the result of such a bill for you? Increase in secularity and big government and then also a new decrese for the devolution to the school? Bah.... And I have to do the same remarks also to MSI! I really didn't understand you...." |

Message | Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri Beniamino Massa I do not think, that after all the security checks for religious extremism, schools should not be allowed to decide themselves on prayers, especially private schools, which may or may not be religious in nature, it is at the end of the day at discretion of the property owner. |
