| PREAMBLE: Public Figures shall not be exempt from the ability to sue for libel and slander, so that there is a greater amount of public transparency, and in order to prevent repression against political and social dissent ARTICLE I Private individuals shall be exempt from libel and slander lawsuits by public figures. Public figures may draw up and deliver Cease-and-Desist notices to private persons, but this shall not be legally binding. DEFINITIONS Public Figures: •Any Elected Official: above the town level. Municipal officials, Fylke officials, Government Ministers, members of the Storting. •Celebrities: Musicians, Artists, Actors, and Socialites who can legally be determined to be well-known •Clerics: Any cleric of the Church of Kazulia, hierarchs of major religions. Private Individuals: persons who do not fall into the above categories |
