Message | Change the channel! We can understand restricting public nudity (although we will not vote for it), but restricting broadcasting is completely unnecessary. What television station is showing explicit content on children's shows and still getting ratings? Are parents not bothered by their children seeing it anymore? |

Message | Why must we restrict anything? You have made no case! |

Message | Because they are having sexually explicit content, showing 'dramatic' rapes in full, all day long. This only encourages the children to become rapists. |

Message | There is absolutely no proof of the above statement. Also, big hint!! Try changing the channel or turning the TV off! It is called responsible parenting! |

Message | It's called "Parliament meetings last too bloody long at night"! My children are home a good three hours before I am, and I am sure that others have a similar problem. It encourages rape. The rape rate has only gone up and the ages committing it have gone down since this law was passed. |

Message | PS, and before you say "Then why doesn't your spouse do it." I say "How? From the Grave????" |

Message | The freedom of choice is more important then the restriction...besides you cant allow kids to wear the proverbial Rose tinted glasses and only see what 'you' think is right, all that does is hurt the child developement. Teach them young and you shouldnt have any problems. |

Message | DRP if your children are alone at home without supervision you are an irresponsible parent and therefore cannot comment on child welfare at all! You keep saying rape has gone up and linking it to sexual content on TV if you keep saying so we will encourage the producers of these programmes to see you in court as a. There is no evidence rape has increased at all and b. There is no evidence even if it had that it could be attributed to daytime TV! OOC You are godmodding, there are no figures either here or IRL linking watching pornography on TV to rape, absolutely none! May I remind you I am female IRL do you think I would propose this even IC if that were the case? godmodding is not alowed within game rules please desist! /OOC |

Random quote: "The first step in freeing yourself from social restrictions is the realization that there is no such thing as a 'safe' code of conduct, one that would earn everyone's approval. Your actions can always be condemned by someone, for being too bold or too apathetic, for being too conformist or too nonconformist, for being too liberal or too conservative. So it's necessary to decide whose approval is important to you." - Harry Browne |
