Message | Mr. Speaker, While we do agree that the current naming of the legislative assembly after a political party is more than a little gauche, bringing back a title from the dark days of monarchy seems like a retrograde step for us. Would not something more like the "National Assembly" be more neutral in tone and more appropriate for a republic? I yield. |

Message | Mr.speaker, I feel that a new name is necessary but it should be named something along the lines of the senator or the the national legislative. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It is not surprising that the Patriots Party is unwilling to rename the house. After all, it gets an electoral boost from having its name so prominently attached to it. I yield. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We get an electoral boost due to our policies and views. The Green Party should try it perhaps, and maybe one day it will be part of government. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, With all respect, we will not take on policy advice from a party that's lost significant political support over the last few elections, especially while at the same time we have grown. Perhaps your policies and views are hurting the Patriots Party? I yield. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
